Overview

Our client, a global software company in the healthcare technology sector, is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join their Platform Engineering team. This is a hands-on role focused on CI/CD, cloud automation, and improving developer experience across multiple Agile teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines (YAML-based, Git workflows)
• Drive improvements in build, test, and release processes
• Define branching strategies and repository governance
• Automate cloud infrastructure using IaC
• Support platform reliability, scalability, and modernisation
• Collaborate with teams to improve engineering standards and tooling

Requirements

• 4–7 years’ DevOps / Platform Engineering experience
• Strong CI/CD pipeline design experience
• Proficiency with YAML pipelines and Git
• Scripting skills (PowerShell, Bash, or Python)
• IaC experience (Bicep, Terraform, or similar)
• Strong communication skills

Desirable

• Cloud experience (Azure preferred)
• Observability/monitoring tools
• Database CI/CD
• Familiarity with modern tech stacks
• Exposure to AI-assisted development tools
